MultE-Plate System
MultE-Plate (MP) System is composed of four main components: W300 RT-CES® analyzer, MP station, a computer which runs the RT-CES® MP Software and 96 well E-Plates. The MP station is located inside a tissue culture incubator and is capable of switching any one of the wells on the E-Plates to the RT-CES® analyzer for impedance measurement. Under the MP software control, RT-CES® analyzer can automatically select wells for measurement and continuously transfer measured impedance data to the computer. Cell index values, derived from the measured impedances, are continuously displayed and plotted by the Software. Additional data analysis Software is available for processing real-time data to derive multiple assay parameters such as EC50/IC50, cell index doubling time, cell index slope.

MultE-Plate Station

  • Plate® interface time: less than 5 seconds for each plate
  • Keypad: capable of moving the Plate® up or down, indicating the plate status, indicating the motor circuit power and error state
  • Communication: RS232 Serial communications at a baud rate of 57,600 bits/second with W300 Analyzer and at a baud rate of 9,600 bits/second with a COM port on computer for Motor control
  • Measurement Rate: <10 seconds per measurement for one 96X E-Plate® or < 1 minute per measurement for six 96X E-Plates
  • Electronic Switch Resistance: 2-5 ohm
