Dynamic Monitoring of Cell Invasion and Migration
  • Migration assay (top panel) HT1080 cells were titrated and then added to the upper chamber of the migration device. Migration was monitored in the presence or absence of serum as a chemoattractant.
  • Invasion and migration assay (bottom panel) For invasion assay, a layer of matrigel was added onto the top chamber followed by adding HT1080 cells. The invasion process of the HT1080 cells was monitored in the presence and absence of serum as chemoattractant.

Advantages:
  • No cell labeling, fixation and counting needed
  • Automatic and dynamic monitoring of cell invasion and migration
  • Quantitative and homogeneous assay
